I just wanted to share something with everyone real quick.
I just saw an amazing progress/before and after pic on the front page of a man who lost over 300 pounds because he took up two seats on a plane. That was his motivation to change. In the comments section there was a nice, inspirational comment about how there are moments in your life when the viel parts and you get to see yourself objectively. You arrive at a crossroads where you can, if you choose, change who you are. You can decide enough is enough. You can quit the dangerous behavior.
Yesterday during Easter brunch I was talking with a man about my weight loss. I personally have lost over 100 pounds from my heaviest. While not 2 or 3 people's worth of fat, I'm still pretty proud of myself. This man asked me "What was it that finally made you lose the weight?"
It's the most common personal question I get.
And the answer is "Nothing."
I just want to tell you all that you don't need to wait for a breaking point. You can make the change today. You dont need to wait for the start of the year, month, week, or even day. Don't wait until you're taking up 2 proverbial plane seats.
Dont wait to break. Do it now.
