[Text] Do you believe in yourself, or just hope things work out for you?

This thought has been bugging me in a positive way the past week.

There's definitely a difference in confidently believing in yourself and just assuming that things will miraculously fall into place. It took me a while to realize this, but I think this also reflects on the way you approach things. When you believe in yourself, you take pride in getting better, no matter in what aspect of your life. Whether it's learning new things, working out, or just improving your relationships with those around you. You realize that becoming a better person is almost like a weapon, or an armor. It helps you to take on challenges that you couldn't have taken on before. And recently, that's been a huge inspiration for me.

There's nothing to be gained by coasting by day-for-day. Things will not fall into place for you if you don't work towards them. People get lucky, sure, but long-term goals are way more important than short-term satisfaction.
