At first I wasn't sure how to respond, I figured they wore them to keep flies out of their eyes. I responded in uncertainty and said "no".
He told me "OP, horses wear blinders because if they could see what the other horses were doing, they'd be so caught up with what's going on around them that they'd stop and lose the race."
Life is like that race, when you stop comparing yourselves to others and focus on winning you succeed, and that's when dream's come true.
