[Text] Don't be afraid of failing. You will regret not trying much more!

Imagine this : You wake up. You're old and just the mere thought of moving hurts. You know that you don't have much time left. you think about your life and everything that you have done.But more than anything else you think about what you haven't done. Every thing you wanted to do and told yourself you'd do sometime in the future has fallen to the wayside. You haven't done most of the thing you wanted to do. Some things were small and unimportant. Others were big and meant a lot to you.

You spent most of your time married to a woman you settled for out of fear of being alone in the midday of your lifespan. You worked a job that you hated. It was safe but it was never what you wanted to do. Your kids don't visit very often anymore and you spend most of your time confined to your recliner or bed watching TV by yourself, hoping for somebody to come along and talk to you.

Your life was long but uneventful. And you think to yourself that you would gladly trade the safety, stability and comfort that you enjoyed throughout your life for another chance at it. You would gladly erase your regrets of not acting upon your deepest desires by risking looking stupid or being embarrassed. You could have talked to Lisa and maybe you would have gotten together. Maybe you would have been the person to make her happy. Maybe she would have been the person to make YOU happy. Just maybe.

But now you are old. You can feel your body giving up and telling your brain that soon it will be time to go. To let go of everything you have accomplished. That's when you realize that letting go of the things you have created throughout your life is not the hard part. The hard part is letting go of all the things you were too afraid to act on. All the things that were too hard, scary or crazy. And then, just like falling asleep, you're gone. And the last thing you felt was burning regret.

What I'm trying to say is that in the end you will regret not doing something more than you will regret making a fool of yourself. Please don't be afraid. Be brave.

Nobody is better than the person you could be. Don't forget that
