[Discussion] How Do You Stay Motivated When Seeing People Who Share Your Dream?

I'm speaking mostly career wise I guess, and this may be a silly question, but how do you stay motivated when you see a vast amount of people want to do the same thing you want to do?

I want to be a screenwriter and when I go into r/Screenwriting for tips it feels nice to have this community but also intimidating because i think "these thousands of people all share my dream, and want it just as badly as I want it, and there isn't room enough for all of us." It's been hard to stay motivated lately when that thought seeps into my head. Because, yeah, part of me wants to shake it off and tell myself to just keep working harder; that I can be the best if I keep pushing. But then reality punches me in the face and I just spend the day in bed.

Have you ever dealt with something like this? How did you overcome it?
