[Discussion] Today I broke a personal record and squatted 135 lbs 5x5 reps.

Ok before y’all judge I know this isn’t much. I’m a skinny dude and my goal was to be able to squat using a 45 lb plate on each side (the bar itself is also 45 lb). A 45 lb plate is the big plate btw. Since I started working out I’ve sorta been embarrassed of using the smaller plates while literally everyone else in the gym I go to uses multiple 45 lb plates for their workouts. Therefore, finally being able to squat 135 lb and use the big plates felt good. I’m now more motivated than ever to continue grinding and squatting till my legs become as thick as tree trunk.
