[Discussion] Tips on improving motivation from a biological stand point?

Hey peeps,

So i'd like to discuss how one could boost their motivation by taking a look at how our bodies might contribute to feeling apathetic and unmotivated.

Does anyone have any pro tips beyond the obvious "start exercising"?

I personally have been training very rigorously (not overtraining) so lets say i have that box thoroughly ticked.

my tips are Magnesium and green tea. I've read around the web that magnesium helps to improve motivation and drive. I've started eating spinach as often as i can and i must say that it has helped a little with my motivation. Not a miraculous amount but i feel a little different.

Green tea has a lot of L-theanine in it which makes you calm and doesn't give you the anxiety that you might experience with coffee. Many of us (or at least myself) feel really inadequate and like me can't accomplish the smallest tasks. For me, the L-theanine gives me a little more calm rational thoughts.

So that's what i have. Anyone willing to add? As i said, i'm looking for ways to make sure my biological and physiological body is working with me and not against me.

Thanks
