Really not sure which sub to post this in...i debated r/buildapc or r/diy, etc. But i figured I might get good feedback/ideas here.
Problem - I really like lists. They seem to be the only thing that keep me on task with goals. I'll think of a couple things i want to do (example - reorganize my editing hard drives, detail my car). Problem is, at any given time i have a couple of lists. I have one or two lists at my desk on a note pad (general to do/household list, video related to do list). I'll also have a bunch of OneNote lists on my phone (Florida packing list, list of steps to grow video business, things to learn related to video). Things are all over the place and sometimes i'll not even look at a list because i have three others.
Solution - I want something almost like a digital whiteboard that can go on my desk. I don't know if such a thing exists. Digital because i want to be able to add or remove or swap things at will, and because my handwriting sucks. However, it needs to be persistent in the sense that it stays on all the time and just stays on my desk to glance at. SO this rules out a lot of things like just using my kindle or phone - I don't want to have to boot it up and look for it - i already have a bunch of other apps i dont use enough.
I have an app on my phone that i use for daily habits or goals, which works well enough. Am I just crazy or does anyone know of any product or DIY solution? I had envisioned it almost like the old Kindles - like how they are made basically to display text but also don't drain power to remain on and can hold what is displayed through that ink looking display.
