Sometimes I'll visualize the end result - like a sparkling clean kitchen when I don't feel like washing the dishes - and before I know it I've completed the task. Also, I don't believe in the pseudoscience of The Secret - but I say things in my head like "I manifest that I will get X done today". I find that make-believing that my thoughts can create reality helps me focus. I also ask myself blunt questions like "Do you want a better life?" when I catch myself doing something stupid like playing candy crush when I need to be studying. What works for you?
