I'm 45 and since 40, the body's like a used car that's past warranty. It's only going to get worse as time goes on, isn't it.
Look around at how others are doing at this game, when you're out there. Walking around the supermarket, for example. Take a look at their faces. They can't handle waiting 5 minutes in line. It's like when they're driving. Take a look at them in their vehicles on the way to work.
Usually when you see somebody who's going grey, they probably got problems walking. The look on their face is likely because of pain or something. They aren't smiling, let me tell you that.
Do you really want to be like them when you get older. They're fouled up all the time. So what are you gonna do, from 60 to 80 just be a miserable chump and then die.
People can't handle when things get worse. They're already saturated and maxed out with problems they gotta deal with. Just one more is the last straw that breaks the camel's back. You can try to have a good day and stay happy but there's always something stupid that'll get you in a bad mood.
As time goes on and you have more problems, those setbacks really make you lose your cool. Cause you're already maxed out with problems and yup, one more now. As time goes on you really start to become bitter about it all. haha.
For example, gotta watch it, sometimes when you're driving, you go to pass somebody. The only thing you can guarantee with anybody is same situation, they're maxed out with problems and odds are, they're not going to be a good person. You're trying to pass them, they're mad at the world and want to get revenge on anybody. They speed up as you're trying to pass. After that, you can get the road rage too and next thing you know you're both going 100 in the city. haha.
Or some idiot can get you mad and the situation can easily escalate. Next thing you know, in a few moments you're beating somebody's head in and it'll only be you that winds up in jail, even if it initially was self defense. Meanwhile a few minutes before you were driving along listening to the radio trying to have a good day and minutes later you're in handcuffs.
You have to stay cool even though others are being irritating. It's like a sports referee, any talking back to them or the cops, it's only you that loses. You have to suck it up even though they may be wrong. So hard to keep your cool when somebody's unreasonable. You have to though, because it's only you that loses if you lose your cool.
Every day winds up being challenging like that. Always something that gets you mad. Then next thing you know a whole year then decade and you were bitter most of the time. You were never happy and now you're old and time's up. Always waiting around for money then you can start being happy.
You can wind up having a low tolerance to any inadequacies which could have been preventable. Let's say a part breaks down on a machine but you were too cheap to maintain it. Then when it breaks down you totally lose your cool. You really gotta just calm down about all this.
Your body's going to be wearing out, not much you can do about that. You can try to go to the doctor, he'll put you on pills. A while later all those negative side effects you hear about in TV commercials 'll start to set in. Then you'll have to take a dozen more pills and those side effects 'll nail you even more. Whatever.
Your body's gonna break down either way. Are you gonna spend the rest of that time fouled up and bitter. It's sort of like your attitude in any bad situation. Initially before your reaction, the situation is the same no matter what's going on. If you get mad about it, now you're just gonna lose your cool way more. Always best to keep your cool. Yes, just put it on the huge pile of problems you already have to deal with and move on.
What are you gonna do about the body breaking down as you get older. Well, if you be like the rest of them, you'll be fouled up all the time until you're dead. Only way to get around this is to smile even though it hurts.
When more problems go on each day, you gotta relax. Start to do anything and you'll be dealing with inadequacies. Usually you'd be angry about spilt milk. Can't get mad about that. Just gotta stay cool and fix it. Go yeah, yeah.. whatever. Eventually you'll get back to where you were before the problem.
So me, the body's starting to break down but whatever. I keep on going and stay cheery. Seriously have to continuously turn that frown upside down, all the time all day long. haha.
In any situation you can either have a positive or negative attitude. Situation is the same regardless of you getting mad. That'll only make it worse. So technically, even if your leg is getting cut off, probably best to be smiling, isn't it.
Helps though to quit making the obvious things worse. Like drinking booze all the time and smoking whatever all the time. You're only shooting yourself in the foot. At least try to minimize how much you'll be losing later. So that's an area I'm working on as well.
The reason why you do those addictions to distractions every present moment is because your life sucks and you're mad about it. You do those things to try and have a bit of temporary happiness. Being hungover the next day is spoiling your tomorrow when you could be working on trying to get out of the hole. Blew decades losing with that addiction to distractions mentality so maybe try changing your game plan just a little bit. You already know that's losing so best to just stay straight even if it's not as fun in the present. Deal with how your life sucks instead.
So there you go.. have fun being a fouled-up old person or one who's at least smiling while it hurts. It's gonna hurt either way, isn't it.
