[Discussion] Graduate looking for employment - how do I stay motivated and positive?

I have always been a super motivated person, excited to achieve and grab hold of the future. I completed two degrees consecutively (graduating in the top 10%), plus a diploma. I started a charity and my own business. I did a bunch of work experience, worked out what I really want to do with my career and was super excited. I graduated 3 months ago and since then... nothing. The state I live in (not the US) has the highest unemployment in the nation, and it just seems like there is nothing going. I have applied for every job (probably about 10 so far) that has come up remotely in the area I want to work in, and have been rejected from all of them.

The truth is I've never really had to handle "failure" and I've got no bloody idea how to stay motivated. I can feel my self worth dwindling and I just want to hide away because I hate being asked bout the job search and feel very worthless. I feel like this will never get better and I wasted a small fortune and endless energy on this career path.

Has anyone else experienced this? How do I toughen up and keep going? Any words of wisdom to get me to stop wallowing in self pity and get my old enthusiasm back?
